Visit us and find out why people love the Kathmandu!

Kathmandu is a family run restaurant in the centre of Bristol, opened in September 2003 following twenty three years running two take-away outlets in Bristol (in Easton and Gloucester Road). That is three generations of experience, spanning 32 years!

We import our own spices from a village in our home country of Nepal, giving the cuisine a unique flavour, unlike much of the Indian food found in the UK which can be heavy and oily. We are Newari and we originally came from Bhajungle, which is next to Kritipur in Nepal.

Why not round off an evening at the theatre, the Hippodrome, or Colston Hall with your favourite curry and a glass or two of fine wine from our wine list at Kathmandu Restaurant - in the centre of Bristol at the base of Colston Tower, opposite the Colston Hall.
